Maj Gen Neeraj Bali, SM, (Retd) was trained in the National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla in January 1975 and was commissioned in December 1978 as a Second Lieutenant in Infantry.
During his career, he served on all the borders multiple times. He commanded a Rashtriya Rifles Battalion in J&K in the height of the terrorism and was awarded the Sena Medal. He retired in April 2016.
During his career, he had been a teacher too. He taught in the Infantry School at Mhow, the Defence Services Staff College at Wellington and Army War College at Mhow. After his retirement, he was Chief Executive Officer of Pravara Rural Education Society that ran 92 schools and colleges in Maharashtra and later Chief Executive Officer of Rodic Consultants Private Limited, a leading Engineering Consultancy Company.
He is an M.Sc and M Phil in Defence Studies and is currently pursuing Ph D in Management. He has also attended a study program in the USA at the Asia Pacific Centre of Security Studies, Hawaii. He has also served in Lesotho, Southern Africa, as Security Advisor to the Government and Leader of Indian Army Training Team.
Maj Gen Neeraj Bali has delivered talks on leadership and related subjects at several prestigious forums, including Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, XLRI Jamshedpur, SRCC Delhi, Tata Group of Companies, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, several Rotary Clubs, the College of Defence Management, Punjab University, Army War College, Mhow and Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, to name a few. On invitation by the US think SCIP, he has spoken at their annual event at Atlanta and later in Portugal to a group of European businesspeople.

Prior to this, Tanuja worked with Geospatial Media and Communications as a Chief Strategy Officer. Sana Sameer Kanwar is a Gold Medalist in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia.
